Epinephrine is a fun word to say. Try it. See? Fun. It even kind of ties into my story! Kind of-ish.
Anyway, Mom is a speech pathologist and works with early childhood/preschoolers which means she gets a lot of good little kid stories.
The other day she was working with a 4 year old when the girl interrupted their exercises to tell her, "I'm allergic to nuts."
"Oh, really?"
She said seriously, "They make me very sick."
"It's good that you know that you have to be careful," Mom told her.
"Yes. There is only one kind of nut I can eat," she replied with her face completely deadpan. "Donuts."

An exercise in perspective. Very tasty silver lining!
I just love that she said it with a totally straight face!
