This weekend I packed up and headed west for an overnight in western MN. To celebrate my new job, Elissa made me her famous "promotion cake" {chocolate cake with mint frosting}. The last of the summer flowers were blooming and during our morning coffee date we discovered a hidden alleyway with names carved into all of the bricks. It was the perfect way to end my staycation!

Looks like you had a lovely time with your family. It wouldn't matter if you stayed in Phuket villas or at your local B&B. You would have had so much fun, either way.
