State Bird Bites

I'm allergic to mosquito bites, which is funny {ha haha haha ha.} because there are so many here that people say they are the Minnesota state bird. This weekend's cabin tally was 9 which wouldn't be so bad except that I get welts the size of about two quarters which then blister, all the while itching like crazy. It aint pretty. Trust.

But amidst the mental anguish of trying to keep myself from scratching and testing out every lotion/cream/pill in the pharmacy, this happens...

...and makes every itchy moment worth it.
